“ Having travelled many times to Korea and even marrying a sweet Korean gal, I guess you can say I do have a love for Korean. ;) In the entire region I toggle between Korea Palace and Chung Ki Wa (CKW), but for this review I'll focus on CKW. The quality, taste, service, and environment mirrors that which you'd find in Korea. Don't go if you want fusion or westernized. The closest fusion you might find is Koreanized Japanese dishes. I've tried many of their dishes and they all seem really good. Typically when I see a large menu selection I think there's got to be a give somewhere...nope, it's all good. While the entree prices are higher than average, it does not account for the numerous free side dishes you get; In terms of value it's quite high and I always have left overs. For something different try Korean BBQ which essentially is marinated meats cooked in front of you. Overall you can't go wrong here. ”
“ The food was absolutely delicious! We tried the sweet bulgogi barbecue that comes with a lot of sides like kimchi, spicy cucumbers, broccoli, fish cake slices and many more. Everything was perfect, and the serving time was fast. Definitely a not to miss location while in Detroit! ”
“ My husband and I regularly come here from Detroit and the food is always so delicious! Our favorite is the jjampong and the naegmyeon combo with galbi. The staff here are attentive and quick to bring food, very impressive timing since usually they are always busy and not a lot of staff! We love it here, highly recommend for good Korean food in this area! (In this photo jjampong, jjajangmeon & tansuyuk combo & steamed egg) ”
“ Chung Ki Wa is my family's go-to Korean restaurant. They have everything from Kbbq to traditional Korean and Chinese dishes. The free side dishes are always a plus. They've also added a new menu for added variety. I recommend the Soybean Paste Hotpot and Spicy Cold Noodle for 2 for larger groups. Both dishes could easily feed at least 3 people. I also recommend the Dinner Combo with your choice of cold noodles or spicy tofu soup and a meat dish (bulgogi, galbi, or mackrel). The staff are also always so welcoming! Highly recommend :) ”
“ All the food is so fresh and taste good. The best Korean restaurant in Michigan. Not only they have Korean barbecue and all different types of Korean food is also available. Service was amazing and prices reasonable as well ”
